Budbreak is here!  It's amazing what a few days of
warm temps and sunny skies will do.  For grapevines,
it's time to wake up from their winter slumber.  The
photo, top right, is of a Petite Sirah vine in our
backyard (head-trained, spur-pruned) on March 31,
2011, shortly after budbreak.  The two photos, below,
show the same vine one week later.
